Hi, I'm Laura.
I am a coach and consultant who works with individuals and teams to reimagine what work can be. I believe deeply in the power of true, meaningful connection - especially in professional environments. Work is where so many of us spend our time and it has a profound impact on our day-to-day lives and the lives of others. I am on a mission to empower people to reclaim an engaging professional experience that is rooted in kindness, trust, and authentic human connection.
"Focus attention and energy on making a difference in the lives of others,
and success might follow as a by-product.”
- Adam Grant

My Story
I began my career in Human Resources - joining a management training program at Target and leading the HR function for some of the largest Target stores in the country - before transitioning to HR Tech. I have spent 15 years as a leader in SaaS (Software as a Service) environments supporting customer facing Professional Services and Client Success teams. I worked for organizations like Cornerstone OnDemand and Collective Health supporting both down market and enterprise clients on their customer journey to implement HR and Healthcare software.
Along the way, I built high-performing, efficient, fun, collaborative teams. I honed my ability to lead by learning that effective leaders are humans first and treat the people on their team with care and attention. 'People-first' has become more common language, but I have been leading this way since I was given the responsibility of leading people. I don't know any other way. Coaching and mentoring people is in my bones, and I am so grateful for the experiences I have had over the years to support so many incredible professionals.
Given my experiences in both Human Resources and tech, I have a wide view of the both the employee and customer experience working extensively in cross-functional capacities with Sales, Client Success, Operations, Enablement, Product & Engineering, and many other teams throughout organizations to provide exceptional employee and client experiences.
As a leader, I am most successful in environments where I am able to coach and mentor others and set the tone for the culture and vision of a team. My ability to connect with people - to truly get to know them and invest in them – creates the best work in each person and develops high performing teams that people want to be a part of. I decided I wanted to bring this vision of leadership to my own coaching and consulting practice and be able to impact more people.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and our two kiddos. I loves tea (I am fueled by copious amounts of green tea), indoor plants, dabbling in gardening, jigsaw puzzles, spending time with my family, reading (mostly memoirs, essays, and poetry), and talking long wandering walks through the neighborhood.
I am so glad you are here and appreciate your interest. I look forward to working with you!
